Senior Designer Branding Packaging Design Intern Packaging Account Coordinator

We are looking for a senior designer to create and develop brands for the beauty and consumer product industry. The ideal candidate should be passionate about branding, willing to explore the unconventional, is highly curious and intelligent. The position will work closely with the principal and design teams across an array of projects. It’s an exciting opportunity that mixes design, strategy and craftsmanship.

Desired skills
•  5+ years of work experience in design and creative development for a branding and marketing agency
•  Exceptional typography skills
•  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•  Natural at building, maintaining and keeping client relationships stimulating
•  Full awareness of creative process and techniques and able to communicate with vendors
•  Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

Compensation

We offer paid fall packaging design internships to candidate who are available to work five days a week for a minimum of 3 months for an amazing, “hands on” work experience. Starting late August 2016. Candidate will have the opportunity to work directly with the creative director and senior designers on research, design, and execution of branding and packaging projects for leading consumer and beauty brands. The position requires an intuitive personality and sensitivity to modern innovative design, with a particular skill for minimal and elegant presentation. Applicants must be able to develop ideas independently, respond efficiently to client requests, and have fun while doing it!

You will be an integral part of our day-to-day operations, ensuring the office and client projects are run to the absolute best by providing support to the Account Directors. We seek a good face for the agency that can demonstrate excellent leadership and organizational skills. You must be a mature self-starter able to perform multiple tasks efficiently and competently.

Responsibilities include:
•  Support Account Directors on client projects
•  Follow up on action items and work closely with strategic and creative teams to meet deadlines
•  Attend client meetings, note taking and prepar status reports, as needed
•  Proofread, create presentation materials, etc.
•  Supervise vendors and obtain bids/quotes for projects
•  Assist with research for strategy and concept development
•  Develop existing client relationships and drafting proposals
•  Handle reception duties including telephone enquiries, manage incoming and outgoing post, greet clients and prepare meetings
•  Maintain filing systems (hardcopy and digital)
•  Update the agency portfolio and archives
•  Oversee office and stationery supplies

Qualifications
•  Bachelor’s degree required; 1+ years of relevant work experience
•  Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point skills; knowledge of Keynote and Adobe InDesign a plus
•  Basic knowledge of Mac OS/X
•  Outstanding organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
•  Excellent communication skills, written and oral
•  High attention to detail
•  Professional and friendly demeanor
•  Integrity and discretion
•  Flexible to evolving responsibilities and last minute changes
•  Enthusiasm for luxury brands and the beauty industry a plus
